The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Crystal Bead Designs' web site. On some pages, you can register to receive our newsletter or contact us with questions or concerns. On other pages, you can purchase our products. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:
Email address, Name, Address and other information necessary to process your purchase. We provide direct secure payment options through Shopping Cart by Mal's E-Commerce. Transactions are made via a secure server (Thawte SSL) which is monitored by Scan Alert for security breaches. If payment is made by credit card, we collect your credit card details securely online, print a copy and destroy the online record. If payment is made by Paypal, we print a copy of your order without payment information and destroy the online record.
The Way We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself to send our newsletter to you, to contact you at your request regarding our products or to process your purchase. We do not share this information with outside parties. Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by going to our web site. Your email will then be removed from our database. You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error or by unsubscribing the incorrect address and resubscribing with the correct address. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making corrections.
